In the summer months, La Sabranenque is offering the sessions it has been running for over 30 years, with restoration work on weekdays mornings and occasional weekday afternoons.

Volunteers are typically of many ages and professions, and, especially during July and August, come from a variety of countries.

Apart from the restoration work, free time in the afternoons allows participants to discover the countryside, to meet other participants. A visit of the region is organized at least one day during each two-week session. For example, a Saturday may be spent first at the pretty town of Uzes, with its colorful market. After a picnic, the group then visits the Pont du Gard, spectacular Roman aqueduct crossing the Gardon river.
